    Position Description:

    CGI Federal is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Contracts Administrator to support full lifecycle contract management across federal, prime, and subcontract portfolios. This role is central to ensuring contractual compliance, mitigating risk, supporting pursuit and delivery teams, and enabling mission aligned execution within regulated acquisition environments.

    Position Summary

    The Senior Contracts Administrator manages U.S. Government contracts from cradle to grave, applying expert knowledge of FAR, DFARS, agency supplements, internal policies, and CGI Federal contracting frameworks. This role performs hands on contract administration, supports competitive and non competitive pursuits, and provides authoritative guidance to program, finance, and subcontract management teams. Responsibilities include reviewing solicitations, negotiating terms, maintaining compliant records in corporate systems, and serving as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and external acquisition personnel.

    This position is located in our Huntsville, AL office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

    Your future duties and responsibilities:

    . Administer federal contracts end to end, including analysis of requirements, development of contract documentation, SOW validation, pricing and funding review, and DD 254 coordination.

    . Analyze RFPs, terms and conditions, and acquisition requirements to identify obligations, risks, and flow down needs; collaborate closely with program managers, finance, security, and subcontract managers.

    . Detect potential problem areas early, assess alternatives, propose corrective actions, and drive resolution in alignment with contractual requirements and mission priorities.

    . Maintain compliant contract and proposal files, ensuring accuracy and completeness of CPARs, ISRs, SCR, subcontracting plans, and all required reporting. Manage contract data in CGI Federal''s corporate systems and databases.

    . Provide expert interpretation of FAR/DFARS clauses, flow downs, IDIQ ordering procedures, and contract structure best practices to internal teams.

    . Interface daily with CGI corporate teams, technical personnel, Government contracting officials, and teaming partners.

    . Participate in plan reviews, pipeline discussions, and internal strategy sessions to ensure alignment between contractual frameworks and business objectives.

    . Manage assigned agency contracts within the business unit, maintain accurate data in internal systems, and process ad hoc reporting requests supporting leadership and program operations.

    . Collaborate on competitive and sole source pursuits, contributing to proposal development, cost/ROM estimates, RFIs, and formal submission packages. Coordinate communication with Government acquisition personnel as needed.

    . Operate with maturity, independent judgment, and business acumen; demonstrate proactive problem solving, professionalism, and accountability across all contracts related functions.

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

    . BA/BS degree plus a minimum of 7 years of relevant federal contract administration experience.

    . Strong working knowledge of U.S. Government procurement regulations (FAR, DFARS, agency regs).

    . Advanced analytical, critical thinking, negotiation, and communication skills.

    . Ability to assess complex contractual issues, evaluate business impacts, and advise leadership on obligations and risks.

    . Demonstrated ability to engage professionally with Government acquisition personnel and teaming partners.

    . Ability to collaborate effectively with program teams, functional stakeholders, and Government customers.

    . Proven ability to independently identify issues, recommend solutions, and support decision making.

    . Working knowledge of CLM system, Microsoft Suite of Applications, and Costpoint.

    Desired

    . Experience with large scale, multi CLIN contracts.

    . Professional contracts certification (e.g., CPCM, CFCM) or related coursework.

    . Experience with diverse contract types (Cost Type, T&M, Fixed Price), performance based contracting, GWAC/GSA Schedule environments.

    . Background supporting federal defense agencies, including Major U.S. Army Commands.

    . Experience with SBIR and JV structures.

    CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $70,800.00 $172,400.00.
