West Sound Workforce is partnering with an established, employee-owned construction company with a strong reputation throughout the Puget Sound region to source a Senior Construction Project Manager to join their team. With a focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail, this company manages a diverse range of projects and is looking for an experienced project leader to take ownership of complex construction work from planning through completion.
The Senior Project Manager will take ownership of assigned construction projects, providing the organization, communication, and accountability needed to keep work moving forward and projects on schedule and within budget. This role works closely with the Superintendent and project teams to establish clear expectations, monitor progress, communicate status, and address issues proactively. Regular team and project check-ins are an important part of the role, providing visibility and keeping everyone accountable to project goals.

What you will do:- Manage one or more construction projects based on project size and complexity, taking ownership of project delivery from preconstruction through completion
- Partner with Project Superintendents and Project Engineers to coordinate field and office operations, establish priorities, and keep projects moving according to schedule and contractual requirements
- Develop bid packages, evaluate subcontractor bids, complete bid analyses, and prepare subcontracts for assigned scopes of work
- Monitor project financial performance, budgets, billing, and changes while ensuring costs and commitments remain aligned with project requirements
- Oversee project communication and documentation, including RFIs, submittals, meeting records, change documentation, and project records within Procore
- Ensure project contracts, schedules, safety requirements, insurance, regulatory requirements, and other administrative responsibilities are properly managed and documented
What we are looking for:- 5+ years of progressive construction experience with a general contractor, including experience as a Project Engineer, Project Manager, Superintendent, or similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and coordinating effectively with field staff, architects, engineers, owners, subcontractors, and other project partners
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods, project estimating, bidding, and contract administration
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and keep projects moving
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, and Bluebeam; experience with Navisworks is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between project sites
