Senior Community Manager – Luxury Multifamily Portfolio


Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Community Manager to oversee a portfolio of luxury residential communities in South Tampa. Reporting directly to ownership, this leadership role is responsible for property operations, financial performance, resident satisfaction, team management, and asset preservation across multiple properties. This position offers a unique opportunity to manage a high-end portfolio in an entrepreneurial environment without the bureaucracy of large institutional operators.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage leasing and maintenance teams across a portfolio of luxury residential properties
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, resident relations, and property appearance standards
  • Manage portfolio financial performance, including budgeting, expense control, rent collections, and NOI growth
  • Review monthly financial reports and implement operational improvements
  • Coordinate capital improvement projects, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and quality control
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and Florida landlord-tenant requirements
  • Oversee lease renewals, occupancy, resident retention, and rent growth strategies
  • Manage delinquency, legal notices, and eviction processes in coordination with legal counsel
  • Conduct regular property inspections and preventative maintenance reviews
  • Provide ownership with weekly reporting on occupancy, leasing activity, financial performance, and operational metrics


Qualifications:


  • 7+ years of multifamily property management experience
  • Experience managing Class A assets, luxury communities, or multi-property portfolios
  • 5+ years of leadership experience supervising leasing and maintenance teams
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, financial statements, and NOI performance
  • Proficiency with Yardi Breeze, Yardi Voyager, or similar property management platforms
  • Excellent communication and resident relations skills
