We consult design, produce, source, and install visual communication assets for our customers. Job Title: Sales Representative

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Independently source and generate leads with commercial customers (i.e., B2B sales through in-person meetings, networking events, conferences, door-to-door, etc.)
  • Pitch and quote large, complex projects that involve multiple customized solutions and services while maintaining healthy margins in your book of business
  • Convert leads to customers through a detailed consultative sales process and close sales in our business management software system
  • Maintain relationships and engage with existing customers to generate repeat business with an ever-expanding order size
  • Partner with customers on projects requiring extended coordination with multiple product and phased installation
  • Work with the in-house graphics production and installation team members to ensure customer satisfaction with the finished products
  • Coordinate with external vendors to ensure high-quality products and work as well as timely installation and delivery

Requirements

  • Have at least 3 years of sign sales experience
  • We are looking for someone who already has a strong grasp of the basics of the sign world
  • We will train for any further gaps in knowledge both in-house and through our corporate franchisor, but expect you to come with a strong working knowledge of commercial signage business
  • Have a great attitude, enjoy learning, work best in a team, and have a strong sense of personal accountability to create high-level results for yourself and your team
  • Enjoy problem-solving to meet customers needs and go the extra step to help them create the best version of what their solution could look like

Nice to Have

  • Fluent with Googles G-Suite (we use it heavily as part of our working environment)
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
  • Can climb ladders
  • Have a valid drivers license
  • Previous experience with CRM systems, sales platforms (especially Corebridge and Hubspot)
  • Track record of sales experience with high close rates and your own sign customer list
  • Combination of both sign sales and sign production/installation experience
  • Outside sales experience, especially in signs, so able to produce professional draft drawings and presentations to large commercial customers

The Nitty Gritty

  • Develop an annual sales plan with the management team detailing activities to follow during the fiscal year
  • Demonstrate the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision-makers
  • Consultatively sell and make recommendations to prospects and clients using various products and brand standards
  • Identify sales prospects and contact them using a drill-down and share-of-wallet concept
  • Develop and maintain a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face-to-face cold calling, direct mail, email, and networking
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from telephone marketing and field activity
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory
  • Develop a complete understanding of pricing and proposal models
  • Complete all paperwork and follow established center procedures from initiation through completion of a project
  • Assist in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed
  • Carry out market research, including competitive shops and customer surveys
  • Identify and resolve customer satisfaction issues
  • Establish and maintain effective team relationships with all support departments
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
  • Participate in and practice the brand mentality of "Everybody Sells"
  • Serve as a backup for answering the phone if the Franchisee manager and sales-service employees are busy assisting other customers
  • Assist at the front counter as needed
  • Understand the sales process enough to consult with customers to determine project needs and solutions

Working Conditions

  • Working conditions are normal for an office and a light manufacturing environment
  • Report to the manager
  • Work may require occasional overnight travel, weekends, and/or evenings

Compensation

  • $4,000.00 per month
