    Job Summary: The Senior Project Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing client projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery, and maintaining positive client relationships. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in land development engineering, project management, and business development. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and will have a significant role in business development, team management, and the monthly billing process.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Client Management: Serve as the primary contact for multiple clients, overseeing client relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
    • Team Supervision: Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Technicians, providing guidance and support.
    • Project Oversight: Prepare and monitor project budgets, profitability, and schedules to ensure timely and successful project completion.
    • Business Development: Contribute to the formulation of business and marketing plans, playing a key role in expanding the company’s client base.
    • Quality Control: Develop and implement quality systems for the team, ensuring high standards are consistently met.
    • Employee Management: Assist in the hiring process, manage employee performance, and address any workplace issues in accordance with company policies.
    • Financial Management: Oversee work-in-progress, ensure accurate client billing, and manage accounts receivable and collection efforts.
    • Design Supervision: Direct and supervise other engineering activities and design projects.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
    • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant land development engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a management role.
    • Licenses: Valid North Carolina PE license and a valid North Carolina Driver’s License.
    • Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Ajera financial management software is preferred.
    • Physical Requirements: Ability to remain in a stationary position for 90% of the time, with the capability to observe details at close range and effectively communicate information.
