Weekday Shifts: Tuesday-Friday, 6:00 PM-9:00 PM

Weekend Shifts: Saturday & Sunday, 9:30 AM-1:30 PM and 5:00 PM-9:00 PM

Always Best Care Senior Services is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and attentive caregiver to assist a senior couple experiencing cognitive impairment.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys building lasting relationships with clients and understands the importance of maintaining familiar routines. Both clients need assistance with daily activities, personal care, meals, and medication reminders, along with patient guidance and companionship throughout the day.

We're looking for a caregiver who takes pride in providing reliable, respectful support and can help both clients feel comfortable and secure in their daily routines.

Your Weekly Schedule

• Tuesday-Friday: 6:00 PM-9:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:30 AM-1:30 PM and 5:00 PM-9:00 PM
• Sunday: 9:30 AM-1:30 PM and 5:00 PM-9:00 PM
• Pay: $17.00 per hour

Consistent availability for the scheduled weekday evenings and weekend shifts is important to ensure continuity of care.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll help the couple navigate their morning and evening routines while providing hands-on assistance and meaningful companionship.

Morning and daytime responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care
• Helping clients get ready for the day
• Supporting breakfast and other mealtime routines
• Providing medication reminders

Evening responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with dinner and mealtime routines
• Providing personal care and ADL assistance
• Offering medication reminders
• Supporting the clients with their bedtime routines
• Helping both clients settle in comfortably for the night

Additional responsibilities include:

• Providing companionship and appropriate supervision
• Performing light housekeeping related to client care
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment
• Offering patient reassurance and support for cognitive challenges
• Observing changes in condition or behavior and communicating concerns to the office
• Following established care instructions and daily routines

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is caring, reliable, patient, and comfortable assisting two seniors in the same household.

We're especially interested in caregivers who have:

• Previous experience in senior care, personal care, or another direct-care setting
• Experience supporting clients with dementia or cognitive impairment
• The ability to assist with personal care and daily living activities
• Patience when providing reminders, guidance, and reassurance
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation and consistent availability
• A commitment to punctuality and dependable attendance
