Description
Focus: Mid to large capital projects from design through startup.
Scope: Safety, schedule, cost control, construction management, and documentation.
Impact: Develop and apply engineering standards and project management procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead development of project scope, schedule, and budget using best practice PM deliverables.
Plan and coordinate construction, commissioning, and startup activities across functions.
Perform process engineering tasks to meet project technical objectives.
Specify equipment, run RFPs, evaluate bids, and execute procurement for equipment and labor.
Analyze and resolve engineering problems affecting equipment, systems, and component reliability.
Design and improve manufacturing processes, instrumentation, and equipment to maintain quality.
Support operations with troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement.
Mentor and coach early career engineers through hands on training and project work.
Independently handle complex issues and escalate only the most complex matters.
Complete other duties as assigned to support project and site goals.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 4 years of relevant engineering work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
8+ years of engineering experience leading capital projects or portfolios.
Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Agricultural/Biosystems Engineering.
Prior experience in chemical, food, or related process industries.
Ability and willingness to travel domestically to network plants as needed.
Ability and desire to work hands on in a fast paced, technical plant environment.
