Seeking an experienced Senior Buyer and Compliance Manager to lead supplier strategy and serve as the designated Export Compliance Officer in a manufacturing setting.
In this hybrid role, you will
drive strategic sourcing for quality components at competitive costs
manage supplier relationships and performance metrics
enhance purchasing processes for new suppliers, engineering changes, and product launches
oversee export compliance, including classifications, licensing, and restricted party screening
maintain import/export policies, procedures, and training
ensure adherence to U.S. export regulations (EAR, ITAR, ACE) and manage import activities
partner with internal teams and regulators to ensure compliance and audit readiness
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of relevant experience, hands-on EAR/ITAR compliance knowledge, and experience with imports and international suppliers. Strong judgment, organization, and risk-based application of regulations are essential.
