Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a contract to hire position with an Agricultural Cooperative located in Inver Grove Heights, MN.
Compensation: $73.00 - $76.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications
Position Overview:
In this position, you will work directly with business stakeholders, product management, and customers to define required functionality for many applications and then assist the development team with implementation. You will join a growing team supporting the Customer Experience Product Team on a project to validate customer information and onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business objectives and user needs to elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements
- Translate business needs into detailed user stories that include business requirements, acceptance criteria, data mappings, and test scenarios
- Create and share business process flows and system data flows to product teams and stakeholders
- Pull, interpret, and summarize data to support requirements definition, inform strategic decision-making, and assess potential impacts to users and business processes
- Assist QA and Development by reproducing reported defects, performing initial root cause investigation, and documenting findings to support issue resolution
- Support user acceptance testing by communicating with internal users to ensure successful validation
- Create, coordinate, and implement IT Change records within our ITSM change management platform
- Maintain knowledge of interfacing applications and their relationships to support requirements analysis, troubleshooting, and impact assessments
- Triage incidents and support requests to identify business impact, determine potential causes, and facilitate appropriate resolution efforts
- Provide production support to users and help ensure systems operate in alignment with company policies and standards
- Build and apply knowledge of data privacy requirements, including the cookie lifecycle and associated processes
- Ensure adherence to IT methodology, security standards, and established best practices
- Collaborate effectively with business analysts, technical teams, management, and cross-functional partners
Primary Requirements:
- 5+ years of business systems analyst experience to include formulating and defining system scope, gathering system requirements, and creating procedures to solve complex issues
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent collaboration skills within the Product team and interfacing teams
- Experience working with developers and quality engineers in a team setting using Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience in requirements elicitation through the entire life cycle
- Experience in Incident Management, Change Management, and Request Management
- Strong SQL skills including writing complex queries to identify use case data
- Experience with data analysis and data mapping
Desired Skills:
- Experience with a Customer Identity and Access Management solution, e.g. Okta
- Experience with cookie management software e.g. OneTrust
- Experience with the following tools: ServiceNow (ITIL), Octopus, Terraform, SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio Code or other code editors
- Experience with product delivery model, objectives and key results, and customer value focus
