Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Automation Enablement Engineer for a Direct Hire with a client in Omaha, NE (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of enterprise AI assistants, copilots, and intelligent automation solutions that enhance business productivity and operational efficiency.

Salary Range: $120K/annum to $130K/annum; The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior Automation Enablement Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise AI copilots, chatbots, and intelligent automation solutions using Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and UiPath.

  • Architect and implement secure integrations between AI models, enterprise applications, Microsoft Graph, APIs, and business data sources to deliver scalable AI-driven solutions.

  • Design and oversee automation workflows using Power Automate, Logic Apps, and UiPath, incorporating AI insights, business rules, and human-in-the-loop processes.

  • Establish governance, security, compliance, CI/CD, and application lifecycle management (ALM) standards across Microsoft Power Platform and automation environments.

  • Develop reusable frameworks, accelerators, templates, and best practices to enable rapid adoption of AI and automation capabilities across the organization.

  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and strategic guidance to development teams, stakeholders, and business users while driving innovation, proof-of-concepts, and production-ready AI solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field; master's degree preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, automation engineering, AI/ML solution development, or intelligent automation platforms.

  • Strong expertise in Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Copilot Studio, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse), and enterprise AI solution architecture, including RAG and prompt engineering concepts.

  • Proven experience with UiPath development and administration, API integrations (REST, Microsoft Graph), automation governance, CI/CD, security and compliance standards, and deployment of enterprise-scale AI assistants, copilots, and intelligent automation solutions.
