Senior Associate, Asset Management (Equity)

Position Overview

The Company is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Equity Asset Management team, supporting a portfolio of multifamily and student housing investments across the U.S. The role will focus on executing business plans, driving asset performance, overseeing operating partners, and maximizing investment returns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor financial and operational performance of multifamily and student housing assets.
  • Analyze monthly operating results, budgets, forecasts, and business plan execution.
  • Partner with third-party property managers to improve occupancy, revenue growth, and operating efficiency.
  • Prepare asset reviews, hold/sell analyses, investment committee materials, and investor reporting.
  • Support capital improvement initiatives, refinancings, recapitalizations, and dispositions.
  • Track market fundamentals, competitive properties, and portfolio performance trends.
  • Conduct property visits and participate in operating and strategic planning meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
  • 3-6 years of experience in asset management, acquisitions, real estate private equity, or real estate investment banking.
  • Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Experience with multifamily and/or student housing investments needed.

Compensation (Hypothetical)

  • Base Salary: $140,000 - $160,000
  • Bonus: 35% - 45%
