Senior Associate General Counsel | Legal Services

Work Location: This is an onsite position based at one of our locations: Jacksonville, Gainesville, St. Augustine, or Leesburg.

Provides expert legal advice and ensures regulatory compliance across the organization. Manages litigation and dispute resolution to minimize risks, drafts and negotiates contracts, and oversees corporate governance practices. Supports policy development, collaborates with external counsel and regulatory agencies, and monitors legal changes affecting business operations. Offers strategic legal insights to senior leadership to guide informed decision-making.

• Key Responsibilities

  • Provides expert legal advice and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Manages litigation and dispute resolution to minimize organizational risk.
  • Drafts, reviews, and negotiates contracts while supporting corporate governance practices.
  • Supports policy development and collaborates with external counsel and regulatory agencies.
  • Monitors legal and regulatory changes impacting business operations.
  • Provides strategic legal insights and guidance to senior leadership.

Minimum Requirements

Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in senior legal advisory roles.
• Proven expertise in litigation management and dispute resolution.
• Strong skills in contract negotiation and corporate governance.
• Experience advising senior leadership on legal and regulatory matters.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and policy oversight.
• Demonstrated experience in real estate and construction law. 

Licensure/Certification (Required):
Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (Florida preferred or ability to obtain).

Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting or leading healthcare-related transactions.
Active license to practice law in Florida.
