Senior Analyst, Data Governance

Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements, define solutions, and drive data governance initiatives. Act as a translator between technical teams and business users, tailoring communication to different audiences. Support efforts to establish and maintain accurate, consistent, and trusted data across key business domains. Investigate data quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate resolution efforts with internal and offshore teams. Document business processes, requirements, data definitions, and governance standards. Design and execute testing for data, reporting, and system enhancements. Support ongoing governance programs, issue tracking, and continuous process improvement initiatives. Analyze complex business workflows and identify opportunities to increase efficiency, transparency, and data integrity.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2-5 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, consulting, operations, process improvement, or a related field.
• Strong ability to work across both business and technology organizations.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex data analysis and VBA/macros.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of data structures and data logic.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to manage ambiguity and develop structure where processes are still evolving.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with data governance, data quality, reporting, or enterprise data initiatives preferred.
• Exposure to Power BI, Snowflake, or similar tools is helpful but not required.
