Senior Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)
$31.83 per hour
Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-1:00 or 2:00 PM
20-25 hours per week to start (hours may increase over time)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Administrative Assistant to provide high-level administrative and logistical support across multiple initiatives. This role is ideal for a professional who excels at calendar management, project coordination, and supporting faculty, stakeholders, and community-facing efforts in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex calendar scheduling and meeting coordination
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, including itineraries and logistics
- Provide general project management support for a variety of initiatives
- Organize meeting logistics and materials; support meeting preparation and follow-up
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Manage and maintain internal faculty accounts
- Maintain and update the website using Drupal
- Support community engagement efforts and related activities
- Provide comprehensive administrative and logistical support across multiple projects
Systems & Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong working knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
- Experience with Interfolio, Workday, and Drupal
- Familiarity with Qualtrics is a plus
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in administrative, project coordination, or support roles
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, proactive, and highly reliable
- Previous experience working in a high level department within a University preferred but not required
