A bit about us:

Our client is a privately held systems integration and specialty contracting firm that has spent several decades designing, installing, and servicing communications and life-safety infrastructure for organizations across the Bay Area. The company's project portfolio spans audio-visual systems, fire alarm and life-safety systems, and voice/data networks, with a client base that includes major private-sector technology and business organizations as well as public agencies and educational institutions.

With a reputation built on long-term client relationships and technical expertise, this company has grown into an established name in its niche while maintaining the close-knit, relationship-driven culture of a privately owned business. The Accounting and Finance team plays a central role in supporting ongoing project work, managing the financial complexity that comes with contract-based, project-driven revenue.

Why join us?

Stability with room to grow. This is an established, financially healthy company with a long operating history, not a startup subject to constant reinvention. At the same time, the accounting function is evolving, giving a Senior Accountant real opportunity to shape process improvements.

Meaningful scope. You won't be siloed into a single narrow task. This role touches general ledger accounting, job costing, and month end close, giving broad exposure to how a project-based business runs financially.

Direct access to leadership. As a mid-sized organization, this company offers accountants visibility to controllers and finance leadership that's harder to come by at larger companies, along with a genuine say in how work gets done.

A collaborative, low-drama culture. Team members describe the environment as steady, respectful, and focused on getting good work done without unnecessary politics.
Comprehensive benefits. Competitive base compensation, health coverage, retirement plan participation, and paid time off round out the package.
