We're Hiring: Senior Accountant (Property Accounting)

Salary Range: $70,000-$72,000

Senior Accountant Responsibilities

• 
  

• Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and variance analysis for an assigned portfolio

  
  
• 
  

• Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations

  
  
• 
  

• Review and manage accounting activity related to assigned properties

  
  
• 
  

• Support grant and compliance-related accounting processes

  
  
• 
  

• Coordinate audit requests and prepare supporting documentation

  
  
• 
  

• Assist with budgeting, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives

  
  
• 
  

• Utilize property accounting systems and Excel to maintain accurate financial reporting

  
  
• 
  

• Collaborate with operations and internal teams to ensure compliance and reporting accuracy

  
  
• 
  

Senior Accountant Qualifications

• 
  

• Bachelor's degree preferred

  
  
• 
  

• 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally within property, real estate, or multi-entity accounting

  
  
• 
  

• Experience with financial statements, month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting

  
  
• 
  

• Experience with property accounting software preferred

  
  
• 
  

• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail

  
  
• 
  

• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
