Senior Accountant – Hybrid in Bethesda
About the Company and Opportunity:
- Our client is a non-profit organization in Bethesda whose focus is to strengthen communities in America.
- Due to a vacancy, they are bringing on a temporary Senior Accountant in their Bethesda office!
- Position is hybrid (3 out, 2 in) and the schedule is Monday – Friday 8am-4pm. Laptop is provided and is metro accessible!
- Pay is $40-42/hr – a great place to network, learn new software, and keep your skills alive!
- This position is temporary, but for the right candidate it could go permanent!
Overview of the Senior Accountant role:
- Month-end Close
- Reconciliations
- Journal Entries
- Financial Analysis
- Oversee AP & AR
- Ad hoc projects/reporting
Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 7+ years' accounting experience
- Non-profit experience is a plus
- Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) are a must
- Sage Intacct and bill.com is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
