Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:

• 
  
• Prepare financial statements and monthly management reporting
• 
  
• Analyze budget-to-actual variances
• 
  
• Manage month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
• 
  
• Oversee intercompany transactions and fixed asset accounting
• 
  
• Calculate and files sales taxes in multiple states and tax jurisdictions
• 
  
• Review the work of the Staff Accountant and Accounts Payable Clerk while serving as a key resource for the accounting team
• 
  
• Support accounting projects and analyze processes for efficiency improvements
• 
  

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

• 
  
• 6-8 years of accounting experience
• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 
  
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, including debits and credits
• 
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 
  
• Experience working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
