About the Senior Accountant Role:
Our client, a growing company in the renewable energy industry, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and has a strong foundation in financial reporting, month-end close, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• 
  
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• 
  
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• 
  
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and audit support activities.
• 
  
• Support ongoing process improvements, system enhancements, and accounting efficiencies.
• 
  
• Assist with project accounting and financial analysis related to renewable energy initiatives.
• 
  

Requirements for the Senior Accountant:

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• 
  
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within energy, construction, manufacturing, infrastructure, or other project-based environments.
• 
  
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• 
  
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• 
  
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
