    As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial integrity of a growing automotive distribution and retail organization. This position goes beyond day-to-day accounting you'll help strengthen financial reporting, improve processes, and provide the accurate financial information leadership depends on to make informed business decisions.

    In this role, you will...

    • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes while ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
    • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity.
    • Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
    • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reporting packages.
    • Support external audits, tax reporting, and compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
    • Partner with operational leaders to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiency.
    • Mentor and provide guidance to accounting staff while supporting departmental initiatives and special projects.

    What We're Looking For

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
    • Experience managing month-end close and general ledger accounting.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
