A global workplace technology company is seeking a Senior Accountant to support accounting and compliance across seven entities. The company provides software that connects employee communications and workplace management, including intranet, digital signage, space reservations, and visitor management.

Working closely with the Accounting Manager and Controller, this person will own complex reconciliations, bonus accounting, and international compliance activities while helping improve processes through technology and automation.

Job Details

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve outstanding items.
• Calculate bonus accruals and payments, ensuring accurate accounting and supporting documentation.
• Support month-end close, journal entries, and month-over-month financial analysis.
• Coordinate VAT filings and other required filings across international entities and jurisdictions.
• Support accounting compliance requirements, insurance renewals, and related documentation.
• Assist with the ADP implementation and other accounting system and process initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows using NetSuite, automation, and AI-assisted tools.

Ideal Background

• Experience in a Senior Accountant or comparable accounting role with strong reconciliation, accrual, and close skills.
• Exposure to multi-entity or international accounting; VAT experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP.
• Ability to manage deadlines, maintain accurate documentation, and work independently in a remote team.
• Interest in applying AI and automation to accounting analysis and routine processes.
• Public accounting and system implementation experience are helpful.
