Key Responsibilities:

• Perform remote assessments of branch office environments, including
  • ​ Endpoint security configurations
  • Network segmentation and firewall rules
  • Secure remote access and VPN configurations
  • Data protection measures (encryption, backups)
• Validate compliance with corporate cybersecurity standards and financial industry regulations (e.g., SEC, Client).
• Review physical security controls related to IT assets and data handling
• Conduct technical testing such as configuration reviews.
• Interview branch personnel to assess security awareness and process adherence.
• Document findings and provide clear, actionable remediation recommendations.
• Prepare detailed assessment reports for leadership and compliance teams.

• 2-5 years of experience in cybersecurity assessments or technical audits.
• Strong knowledge of: Endpoint security, network security, and secure remote access
• Financial industry compliance requirements(SEC, Client)
• Familiarity with security tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, CIS benchmarks).
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Relevant certifications preferred: CRISC, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH.

Preferred Skills

• Experience assessing branch or distributed office environments.
• Ability to explain technical findings to non-technical staff.
• A Strong understanding of risk management in financial services.
• Strong communication skills.
• Self-motivied. Able to work alone and with others if needed.

• Work Arrangement: Open to remote, onsite, or hybrid arrangements.

• Potential for Extension/Conversion: Possibly, but unknown at this time.

• Hours of Operation: Flexible; typically 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM (local time).

• Top Skill Sets: Process creation, training, auditing, technical management, and security experience.

• Standout Qualifications: Experience with security configuration, technical documentation writing, training, and overall strong security expertise.

• Deal Breakers: Poor communication skills, lack of patience, negative attitude, or inability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Minimum Education Requirement: Flexible based on experience. Candidates with five or more years of relevant experience may be considered without a degree. Alternatively, candidates with up to four years of experience and at least a bachelor's degree would also be strong contenders. Overall qualifications will be evaluated holistically.

• Certifications: None required or preferred at this time.

• Experience Level: 3–5 years of experience preferred.

• Interview Process: Two rounds of interviews.

• Interview Format: Conducted via Zoom with webcam enabled.
