Requirements / Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or equivalent including courses in computers, office practices, 3 years of progressively responsible clerical work. 2. Knowledge of correct English usage, spelling, grammar, punctuation and composition; modern office procedures and practices; numerical, alphabetical and subject matter filing systems; methods used in preparing statistical reports; district policies, rules & regulations; computer operations. 3. Perform a variety of difficult clerical work involving use of independent judgment. 4. Operate a variety of modern office machines and equipment such as the calculator, typewriter, work processor, copier, computer terminal and related software. Type a net speed of 50 wpm. 5. Make complex mathematical calculations with accuracy and speed. 6. Work efficiently & multi-task with frequent interruptions in a highly active environment. 7. Perform in situations requiring specialized knowledge, using tact and good judgment. 8. Accurately compile and prepare complex reports. 9. Understand, carry out and give oral and written instructions. 10. Maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work. 11. Operate two-way radio communication system. 12. Dispatches priority/emergency calls as required in person, by telephone and or two-way radio. * Please use a valid email address as all applicants will be contacted via email.
