    This positionis responsible for providing a safe, secure, and professional environment atspecial events, including soccer matches, golf tournaments, football games,concerts, festivals, and other public gatherings. The officer serves as avisible security presence, assists guests, monitors event activities, enforcessite rules, and responds appropriately to incidents and emergencies.

    Summary

    Special Events – TheSecurity Officer ensures efficient and professional security operations at specialevents throughout various seasons. When working this position, the hours andshifts may be intermittent and temporary, with the possibility of moving topermanent shifts, depending on the season and the event type. Event typesinclude, but are not limited to: Golf course events, Festivals,Concerts, Professional outings, Lobby services, Sporting events, and General eventsecurity. Security Officers will report any suspicious activity immediately tothe Security Corporal, on duty Security Sergeant, or Regional Manager. Perform all essential functions of a Security Officerwhile at appointed site.

    Essential Duties / Responsibilities·Work to ensure thatthe assigned premises are kept safe and secure

    ·Regular walks aroundassigned perimeter

    ·Communicate effectively and regularly to team using assigned radio

    ·Identify and correctinefficiencies, liabilities, and safety hazards at appointed site

    ·Monitor assignedlocation with high degree of attentiveness to surroundings atappointed site

    ·Provide detailedinformation to authorities as needed

    ·Have NO use of forceto protect property – Secure and Report ONLY

    ·Other duties asassigned by supervisor and/or management

    Required Skills /Abilities

    ·Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills

    Excellentinterpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidentialsituations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy

    ·Utilize the company’scurrent scheduling and approving her/his weekly hours for payroll

    ·Excellentorganizational skills and attention to detail is a must

    ·Judgement and highlevel of integrity

    ·High initiative andreliability

    ·Ability to work in aculture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, and teamwork

    ·Safely and legallyoperate a motor vehicle; Must have a valid and current Driver’s License

    PhysicalDemands

    ·Must be able to situpright, stand, or walk for 100% of the shift as needed

    ·Must be able toquickly ascend and descend stairs and move as needed to secure premises

    ·Must be able to engagequickly physically to de-escalate or respond to security or safety threats

    ··Must have excellentvisual and auditory acuity to see, hear, and interpret observable people,things, behavior, and speech.

    ·Must be able to liftup to 25 lbs.

    Position Type andExpected Work Conditions

    ·Part-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt – Minimal 8-hour shifts

    ·Involves workassignments that vary in days of the week and time of day to relate to the 24/7security operations of the client

    ·Travel to otherlocations may be needed

    ·Both indoors andoutdoors possible, regardless of weather

    Required Education andExperience

    ·High school diplomaor GED

    ·Required to makeany/all continued training/education classes provided by Premier Security Solutions,relevant to position

    ·Law enforcement,public safety, or military experience, preferred
