We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Seasonal Driver to transport students to and from school sports events and field trips. This position is responsible for operating school vehicles in a safe, timely, and professional manner while ensuring the well-being of all passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive students and staff to athletic events, competitions, and field trips
- Follow all traffic laws, school policies, and assigned routes/schedules
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle
- Ensure student safety and appropriate behavior during transport
- Communicate effectively with school staff and transportation coordinators
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL driver’s license with S & P endorsements
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Schedule:
- Seasonal, with hours varying based on sports schedules and trip needs (hours available are afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends)
