Description
Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a SDET – Software development Engineer for their Hartford, CT/Wellesley, MA location.
Requirements:
- Experience with Design, Build and Maintenance of specialized testing frameworks for conversational, generative, and agentic AI applications.
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Java, TypeScript or Python.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, test and quality engineering, including strong experience in developer-led test infrastructure work.
- Experience building test frameworks, automation infrastructure, harnesses, or developer tooling in modern engineering environments
- Strong understanding of software design, debugging, APIs, and maintainable code practices
- Experience supporting quality across backend services, APIs, and full-stack systems
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD workflows and improving engineering feedback loops
- Experience designing and maintaining test data strategies and reusable testing patterns
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
