Application Deadline: June 19, 2026 Position Summary The School Bus Driver safely transports students to and from school, school-sponsored activities, and approved district events while maintaining a safe, orderly, and positive environment on the bus. Drivers are
responsible
for
following
all
district
policies,
state
regulations,
and
transportation
safety
procedures
while
providing
courteous
and
professional
service
to
students,
families,
and
staff.
Vineland
Public
Schools
provides
paid
CDL
training
and
support
for
qualified
candidates
seeking
certification.
Paid
CDL
Training :
Earn
$21.00
/
hour
while
you
learn.
Full
Certification:
We
train
you
to
obtain
your
CDL
Class
B
with
Passenger
(P)
and
School
Bus
(S)
endorsements.
Free
DOT
Physical:
The
required
Department
of
Transportation
physical
is
100%
paid
for
by
the
district Qualifications
High
school
diploma
or
equivalent.
Possession
of
valid
N.J.
driver's
license
and
clean
driving
record.
Must
be
21
years
of
age
or
older.
