Build schedules that align with project objectives, contract requirements, procurement strategies, and key milestone dates. Assist project teams in establishing comprehensive baseline schedules following project award. Review schedule logic, activity sequencing, durations, procurement activities, and milestone integration. Support identification of critical path activities and schedule-driven project priorities. Contribute to the development of company scheduling standards, templates, and best practices.Schedule Management & Project ControlsPartner with Project Managers and field leadership to maintain accurate and up-to-date project schedules. Facilitate routine schedule updates and progress reporting. Assist teams with forecasting project completion dates and milestone achievement. Monitor schedule performance and identify deviations from planned progress. Analyze schedule impacts and collaborate on corrective action plans when necessary. Track critical activities and proactively highlight risks that could affect project delivery. Ensure project schedules accurately reflect current site conditions and project status.Collaboration & Team SupportAct as a scheduling subject matter expert for operations and project management teams. Participate in planning sessions, coordination meetings, and schedule reviews. Translate scheduling data into practical information that supports project decision-making. Work closely with both field and office personnel to promote effective planning practices. Mentor and train project staff on scheduling principles, tools, and methodologies. Encourage accountability and proactive schedule ownership throughout the organization.Portfolio-Level Scheduling OversightMaintain visibility across multiple active projects and overall portfolio performance. Prepare executive-level schedule reports, dashboards, and status summaries. Evaluate portfolio-wide trends, resource concerns, and recurring scheduling challenges. Provide leadership with insight into upcoming project milestones, capacity demands, and potential constraints. Support implementation and continuous improvement of scheduling processes across the company. Assist in creating scheduling procedures, reference materials, and performance metrics.Schedule Risk Analysis & Recovery PlanningIdentify projects showing signs of schedule slippage or performance concerns. Investigate causes of delays and work with project teams to determine appropriate responses. Assist with development of recovery plans and revised project timelines. Evaluate impacts associated with design changes, procurement delays, labor challenges, and other project disruptions. Prepare schedule assessments and supporting documentation related to project claims, extensions, or management reviews. Background supporting commercial construction projects for a general contractor is highly preferred. Strong understanding of construction operations, sequencing, subcontractor management, procurement, and field execution. Experience building, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules throughout the project lifecycle. Working knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling principles. Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or comparable scheduling platforms. Strong analytical and reporting capabilities, including advanced Excel skills. Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and scheduling documents. Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
