The Opportunity We are seeking a full-time SBA 7a Business Development Officerto serve businesses covering Pinellas Manatee Sarasota Charlotte Collier and Lee Counties. This role is responsible for developing and structuring SBA 7a loans to small and medium-sized businesses.The SBA 7a Business Development Officer BDO will actively prospect and network within local markets to identify and establish new SBA client relationships for DFCU Financial. This role will focus on building and maintaining a strong referral network working closely with internal and external centers of influence commercial referral sources and the Business Banking team.For this role candidates must have strong knowledge of SBA 7a loan products to support small business growth in these key Florida markets.What Youll DoGenerate and close a minimum of 12 million in SBA 7a loans each calendar year.
