SAP SD S/4HANA Business Analyst / Functional Consultant

Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a SAP SD S/4HANA Business Analyst / Functional Consultant for their Austin, TX/ Sunnyvale, CA/ Hybrid location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities :
• Collaborate with global business stakeholders to gather analyze and refine complex sales and distribution requirements ensuring that SAP SD solutions align with organizational strategies and deliver measurable business value. Design and document detailed functional specifications in SAP SD that cover end to end order to cash flows including pricing billing and delivery processes to support consistent and reliable operations across regions.
• Configure and optimize SAP SD variant configuration models to handle diverse product structures and options enabling accurate quotations efficient order processing and improved customer satisfaction.
• Translate Brazil and LATAM specific tax and regulatory requirements into robust SAP SD configurations that support compliant invoicing and reporting while minimizing manual intervention and errors.
• Coordinate closely with finance teams to design and validate SAP SD COPA integration scenarios ensuring that revenue and cost data flows accurately into profitability analysis structures for meaningful business insights. Develop and execute comprehensive SAP SD testing strategies including unit integration and user acceptance tests to validate end to end functionality data integrity and process performance before deployments.
• Investigate and resolve complex defects and production incidents related to SAP SD configurations and interfaces collaborating with technical teams to implement sustainable root cause fixes and continuous improvements. -Prepare clear and practical process documentation and business scenarios for SAP SD solutions enabling effective knowledge transfer and consistent adoption by functional teams and end users.
• Coordinate change impact assessments for enhancements in SAP SD processes evaluating upstream and downstream effects and proposing mitigation strategies to protect stability of business operations.
• Support data migration and cutover activities for SAP SD deployments by validating mapping rules executing reconciliation checks and ensuring readiness of master and transactional data for go live.
• Provide expert guidance to cross functional teams on best practices for SAP SD usage including variant configuration COPA integration and regional Brazil and LATAM processes to maximize system capabilities and reduce rework.
• Recommend and implement improvements to SAP SD work models and hybrid collaboration practices that streamline business analyst activities reduce cycle times and enhance transparency for stakeholders.
• Align daily analytical and configuration tasks with the company purpose of delivering reliable and compliant digital solutions that enable sustainable growth and positive economic impact across diverse markets.

 
Requirements:

• Possess extensive experience working as a business analyst in SAP SD with a minimum of eight years in complex enterprise environments focusing on sales and distribution process optimization.
• Demonstrate strong hands on expertise in SAP SD variant configuration including modeling configurable products maintaining condition records and validating configuration results in real scenarios.
• Show proven experience implementing and supporting SAP SD for Brazil and LATAM markets with deep familiarity in local tax rules invoicing requirements and compliance reporting needs.
• Exhibit solid background in SAP SD COPA integration including configuration of value fields mapping of billing elements and validation of profitability analysis reports for management review.
• Bring robust skills in SAP SD testing across full lifecycle projects including creation of test scenarios execution of regression suites and coordination with business teams for user acceptance tests.
• Apply advanced analytical and communication skills to translate business requirements into actionable SAP SD solutions articulating tradeoffs and recommending options that support strategic objectives.
• Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a hybrid model balancing onsite collaboration and remote analysis while maintaining consistent engagement with global stakeholders and project teams.
• Certifications required :
• Preferred certifications include SAP Certified Application Associate Sales and Distribution and SAP Certified Application Associate Management Accounting COPA.
