SAP S/4HANA PP-PI/QM Techno-Functional Consultant – Life Sciences

Strong experience in SAP PP-PI (Production Planning for Process Industries), including process orders, master recipes, production versions, BOMs, resources, phases, and production execution. Experience supporting quality inspection and disposition processes, including quality stock, unrestricted stock, blocked stock, rework, and scrap.

Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a SAP S/4HANA PP-PI/QM Techno-Functional Consultant – Life Sciences for their Bridgewater, NJ/Hybrid location.
 
Requirements:

• Strong experience in SAP PP-PI (Production Planning for Process Industries), including process orders, master recipes, production versions, BOMs, resources, phases, and production execution.
• Hands-on experience integrating SAP PP-PI with Quality Management (QM) for in-process and finished product inspections.
• Experience with QM inspection types, inspection lots, inspection plans, MICs, sampling procedures, results recording, usage decisions, and stock postings.
• Experience configuring and supporting inspection lot creation from process orders and goods receipt, including integration with production processes.
• Experience with batch management, batch classification, batch derivation and batch release processes.
• Experience supporting quality inspection and disposition processes, including quality stock, unrestricted stock, blocked stock, rework, and scrap.
• Understanding of integration between PP-PI, QM, MM, and Inventory Management throughout the procure-to-produce and quality-release lifecycle.
• Have experience in integration S4 and EWM for Production planning /QM module.
• Experience analyzing and resolving production and quality-related issues, including master data, inspection setup, process orders, confirmations, and inventory postings.
• Ability to work with business, Quality, Manufacturing, and IT teams to gather requirements, identify process gaps, and implement SAP solutions.
• Experience supporting CAPA-related processes, quality compliance, and continuous process improvements within SAP S/4HANA.
• Support the team in FUT, SIT and UAT with script design and execution
• Experience in S4 Hana Implementation and roll out in one project each for Biotech or life science customers.
• Hands on experience to work on Integration objects with MES, eLIMS and knowledge in IDocs, Interface with BTP/CPI as middle ware
• Experience in building an interface for S4 with Planning Tools (Kinaxis, Anaplan, IBP)
• Should have techno-functional knowledge for Interfaces build
• Extensive knowledge in MRP planning and enhancements for MD04 with additional functionalities.
• Automation knowledge is most preferrable for process improvements.
• Should have knowledge and Hands on experience in testing tools, Solman for Change release processes
