Position Title: Sand Lake Elementary Administrative Assistant - 10 Month
Qualifications:
- Possesses those characteristics, which will promote success in fulfilling the job goals.
- High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
- Preference given to candidates with two years of higher education; associate degree; or 3+ years of experience resulting in equivalent knowledge.
- CPR certification required within 6 months of employment.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Must be able to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks simultaneously in an organized and timely manner.
Job Description:
- Process correspondence, reports and documents for the Building Principal.
- Maintain a regular filing system, as well as a set of locked confidential files.
- Maintains a schedule of appointments and makes arrangements for meetings, conferences and interviews.
- Operates and maintains office machines including, but not limited to; computer with appropriate software applications, copier, calculator, laminator, scanner and other machines required
- Respond professionally and appropriately to a task and/or directive.
- Knowledge of and ability to effectively use school attendance software, school purchase order software and the appropriate technology.
- Maintains cumulative student records including daily attendance data, maintains a daily teacher log and the necessary records for substitute teachers
- Handles other duties as assigned or required.

Terms of Employment: 6.00 hours per day on days students are present. No benefits are associated with this position.
