Salesforce Developer

Role: Salesforce Developer
Duration: Contract until EOY with possible extension
Location: 4x week onsite – Dallas or Austin, TX
I need folks who have Service Cloud and Omnistudio/Omnichannel.

Position Overview
This individual will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into secure, reliable, and high-performing applications.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, integrations, and Salesforce configuration within a large, highly regulated enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions.
• Build Lightning Web Components, Apex classes, triggers, batch processes, and asynchronous integrations.
• Configure Salesforce using Flows, validation rules, permission sets, custom objects, and other declarative tools.
• Integrate Salesforce with internal applications and third-party platforms using REST and SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware solutions.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to gather requirements and develop technical solutions.
• Participate in solution design, code reviews, testing, release management, and production support.
• Troubleshoot application defects, integration failures, and performance issues.
• Develop reusable components and follow Salesforce development standards and best practices.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, source control, automated deployments, and environment management.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, data privacy, risk-management, and regulatory requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs and deployment instructions.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Strong experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce Flows.
• Experience developing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security, including profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and role hierarchies.
• Experience with Salesforce data modeling, governor limits, bulkification, and platform performance.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Salesforce deployment tools.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Platform Developer I or Platform Developer II certification.
• Experience within financial services, banking, brokerage, wealth management, or another regulated industry.
• Experience with Financial Services Cloud.
• Experience with MuleSoft or another enterprise integration platform.
• Familiarity with Salesforce DX, DevOps Center, Copado, Gearset, or similar tools.
• Experience with Shield Platform Encryption, Event Monitoring, or Salesforce security and compliance capabilities.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web-development practices.
• Experience supporting large-scale Salesforce implementations with complex integrations and high transaction volumes.ss
