North Carolina Farm Bureau – Durham is looking for a Licensed Sales Producer to join our growing team. We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong people skills, and a desire to succeed. A current insurance license is preferred, but the license can be obtained upon hire. No prior insurance experience is required for the right candidate—we’ll provide the training, coaching, and support to help you build a successful career.


What You'll Do
  • Build relationships with prospective and existing customers.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
  • Learn and present Farm Bureau Insurance products, coverage options, and discounts.
  • Follow up with leads and develop new business through referrals, networking, and community involvement.
  • Conduct needs-based sales conversations.
  • Prepare quotes and help customers through the sales process.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional products and coverage.
  • Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after the sale.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and agency documentation.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
What We're Looking For
  • Insurance license preferred; must be willing and able to obtain a license upon hire.
  • Friendly, outgoing, and professional personality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and be coached.

  • Previous sales, retail, hospitality, customer service, banking, or other people-focused experience is a plus, but not required.
