Role Overview:

For over 30 years, Aztec Plumbing & Drains has been the most trusted name in Southwest Florida plumbing — 3,000+ 5-star Google reviews and a reputation built on showing up, doing it right, and taking care of our customers. Now we're growing our commercial division, and we need a hunter who can bring that same trust to local businesses, property managers, and commercial accounts across our territory. This is a true SALES development role with uncapped earning potential — not a desk job, and not a script-reading call center gig.

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Drain Specialist Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our company, turning complex drain and sewer issues into clearly communicated, high-value structural solutions. You will utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to evaluate failing underground infrastructure, build comprehensive quotes, and work with property owners to secure projects and meet monthly sales targets.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Consultative Sales & Diagnostics: Perform on-site evaluations of residential or commercial drain and sewer systems. Utilize high-definition sewer cameras and locator tools to discover blockages, pipe collapses, or structural degradation.

No Cold Calling: Step directly into pre-scheduled, targeted consulting appointments

  • Estimate & Bid Creation: Prepare detailed, profitable estimates covering labor, materials, permitting, and equipment for major service tasks, excavation jobs, and trenchless technologies.
  • Client Presentations: Present customized "Good/Better/Best" repair options to clients. Explain advanced plumbing issues in a clear, friendly, and non-technical manner to close contracts and establish pricing expectations.
  • Lead Conversion & Pipeline Management: Proactively follow up on open proposals and warm leads passed along by field service technicians or the customer service team.
  • Financing: Introduce and assist clients with flexible financing options for unexpected major expenses.

 Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 1–3+ years of successful outside sales or in-home sales experience. Strong preference given to candidates with an existing background in plumbing, HVAC, or construction estimating.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of drain and sewer diagnostics, high-velocity water jetting, and trenchless pipe rehabilitation methods.
  • Key Skills: High closing conversion rate, excellent negotiation skills, and a customer-first problem-solving mindset.
  • Software Proficiency: Comfortable utilizing modern CRM systems (e.g., ServiceTitan) to capture notes, organize camera footage, track sales pipelines, and issue digital quotes.
  • Mobility & Licensing: Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record to operate a company-provided vehicle to get to job sites.

Compensation & Work Environment

  • On-Target Earnings: $75,000–$110,000+ (base + uncapped monthly commission)
  • Company-supplied truck and gas card
  • Field-based role — up to 75% travel within your assigned territory

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of outside B2B sales experience — plumbing, HVAC, or construction services background preferred
  • A proven track record in cold-calling and closing new business
  • Strong CRM/pipeline management skills (ServiceTitan experience a plus)
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
