Description

Our Client, a Cybersecurity Software Solutions company, is looking for a Sales Planning Systems Consultant – Varicent for their Remote location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • FY26 Varicent Sales Planning Implementation: Build, configure, and validate FY26 sales planning models in Varicent, aligned to approved GTM structure, roles, territories, and quota methodology. Ensure the model supports accurate execution and reporting.
  • In Year Adjustments & Scenario Support: Configure Varicent to support in year quota changes, territory realignments, rep movement, and exception scenarios. Troubleshoot issues, validate calculations, and ensure adjustments are accurately reflected downstream.
  • FY27 Sales Planning Model Design: Redesign and build the FY27 sales planning model in Varicent. Translate future state GTM coverage, segmentation, and quota strategies into scalable, repeatable system logic.
  • Territory & Quota Modeling: Implement territory hierarchies, coverage rules, role structures, and quota allocation methodologies within Varicent. Validate alignment to Salesforce and other GTM systems.
  • Data Validation & Reconciliation: Perform testing and reconciliation of Varicent outputs against source data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and auditability of plans.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with RevOps, Finance, and Systems teams to gather requirements, review assumptions, and align on planning rules and outputs.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Document model design, assumptions, configuration logic, and maintenance considerations. Support handoff to internal teams to ensure long term usability of Varicent.
  • Process Improvement & Best Practices: Identify gaps or inefficiencies in current planning processes and recommend improvements to enhance scalability, flexibility, and operational efficiency.
 
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Sales Planning with hands on experience implementing planning tools
  • Direct, hands on experience with Varicent Sales Planning, including model configuration and maintenance
  • Strong understanding of GTM strategy, territory design, coverage models, and quota methodologies
  • Experience supporting both annual planning cycles and in year adjustments
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to operate independently in complex, fast moving planning environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain planning logic to cross functional stakeholders
