Position Title: Retail Merchandiser (Wine & Spirits / Beverage Industry)

Location: 6256 North W Street, Pensacola, FL 32505 Panama City, FL (2 openings) Destin, FL (1 opening) Santa Rosa Beach, FL (1 opening) Pensacola, FL (1 opening)

Clearance Requirements: 7-year national & county criminal background check; MVR required (no DUIs); 5-panel drug screen (10-panel for driving roles). Must clear prior to start.

Position Status: Contract (Part-Time - 25 Hours Weekly) Pay Rate: Up to $17/hour + $50 weekly mileage reimbursement

Position Description: We are hiring multiple Retail Merchandisers to support Publix and Walmart locations across the Florida Panhandle. This field-based merchandising role is ideal for dependable, self-motivated professionals who enjoy working independently, driving between store locations, and executing high-impact retail displays.

As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for stocking, rotating, resetting shelves, building displays, and executing planograms to ensure products are visually appealing and ready for sale. You'll collaborate closely with store personnel and sales teams to maintain strong in-store presence and deliver exceptional customer service.

This role offers hands-on experience in retail merchandising, inventory management, beverage distribution, and sales support, making it a strong entry point into the wine & spirits and consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries.

Schedule: 7:00 AM - Until route completion, 3 days per week (Saturday & Sunday + one weekday), approximately 25 hours weekly. Schedule may vary based on business needs. Merchandisers typically service 4-6 retail locations per day.

Key Responsibilities: • Travel between assigned Publix and Walmart locations using personal vehicle • Stock, rotate, and merchandise beverage products to maximize shelf visibility and sales • Reset coolers and shelves according to planograms and schematics • Build and maintain floor displays and point-of-sale (POS) materials • Place pricing and promotional signage accurately • Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks to transport cases to the sales floor • Maintain clean, organized, and safe back-stock areas • Partner with store managers and sales representatives to optimize display placement • Submit required activity and merchandising reports • Provide professional customer interaction while representing the brand

Required Skills/Education: Must be 21 years of age or older High school diploma or GED required Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs) Reliable personal vehicle and active auto insurance Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and reach throughout shift Strong time management skills and ability to work independently Comfortable working in retail and occasional cold storage environments

Preferred Qualifications: 1+ year of retail merchandising, grocery, stocking, or CPG experience Experience with planograms and retail resets Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to build positive working relationships with store personnel
