Sales Manager – BODYBAR Pilates La Jolla-UTC (Pilates & Fitness Background Preferred)
About the Role
BODYBAR Pilates La Jolla-UTC is looking for a Sales Manager who knows Pilates and knows how to sell. Reporting to the Studio Manager, you'll be on the floor coaching the team in real time, on both the sales side and the fitness side. You won't just be the best seller in the studio. You'll teach everyone else how to be one too.
What You'll Do
- Lead by example as the studio's top seller, from first inquiry to membership
- Give live, in-the-moment feedback to the front desk team on tours, intro clients, objections and closing
- Coach instructors on the client experience and on how they support sales in and out of class
- Train the team on the BODYBAR sales process and hold them to it every shift
- Turn intro clients into members, and follow up with leads quickly and consistently
- Help grow referrals and retention by building relationships with members
- Track team and individual numbers, and work with the Studio Manager to hit monthly goals
- Support community events, partnerships and grassroots outreach
What You Bring
- Managerial experience, with a history of leading and developing a team
- Strong Pilates or fitness knowledge, whether you're an instructor, a former instructor or a dedicated practitioner
- 2+ years of sales experience, ideally in boutique fitness
- A proven track record of hitting sales goals
- Confident giving real-time feedback and coaching others
- Outgoing, energetic and comfortable asking for the sale
- Organized, reliable and great at follow-up
- Comfortable with client management software

Schedule: About 20-30 hours per week across 4/5 shifts: 3/4 weekday shifts and 1 weekend day. Shifts include some early mornings and late afternoons.
