This is an opportunity to join a growing Air Distribution team that plays a critical role in the design and performance of commercial buildings. Rather than selling a single product, you'll have access to a broad portfolio of engineered airside products and solutions and work directly with mechanical engineers, architects, and building owners to determine the right solution for each application.

Job Description

This is an outside sales and account management role focused on growing HVAC air distribution equipment sales through business development, customer relationship management, estimating/proposal development, and project support. You will have the opportunity to represent multiple HVAC Manufacturers with the ability to have the absolute best of the best products at your disposal.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market penetration, grow revenue, and expand the company's presence within the air distribution market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders, including estimators, project managers, engineers, purchasing teams, and company leadership.
  • Prepare project take-offs, estimates, and sales proposals, ensuring solutions align with customer requirements.
  • Manage the sales cycle from opportunity identification through follow-up, negotiation, and closing to achieve quota targets.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities and increase market share.
  • Coordinate closely with customers, sales engineers, and internal teams to support project success and customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.

  • Proven ability to develop and execute sales plans that drive revenue growth and increase market penetration.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders, including estimators, project managers, engineers, purchasing teams, and leadership.
  • Experience selling HVAC, mechanical airflow, air distribution, or related building material products.
  • Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities while expanding existing customer accounts.
  • Skilled in preparing project take-offs, estimates, and proposals and presenting solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Demonstrated success managing a sales pipeline and closing business to achieve quota and performance targets.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate market trends and competitive data to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both internally and with customers.
  • Exceptional customer service mindset focused on long-term relationships and customer retention.
  • Strong project management and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, though HVAC field technicians or sheet metal professionals looking to transition into sales would also be strong candidates.
