Safety Manager

Job Description

• Lead safety initiatives across multiple commercial construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
• Conduct site safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Provide safety training, coaching, and mentorship to field personnel and project teams.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with project leadership to promote a proactive safety culture.
• Maintain accurate safety records, reporting, and documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance workplace safety performance.

The Successful Applicant

• OSHA 500 and/or OSHA 510 certifications required.
• Proven experience serving as a Safety Manager within the construction industry.
• Background supporting commercial, institutional, healthcare, education, mixed-use, government, or large-scale development projects.
• Experience working with larger general contractors or construction organizations preferred.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and training skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with field teams and project stakeholders.
• Stable work history with strong tenure preferred.
