Description

Lead Safety Manager

Lead and promote a proactive safety culture across active construction projects. Perform site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance. Partner with project teams, superintendents, and field personnel to maintain best-in-class safety performance. Enforce OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements. Support implementation of USACE EM 385-1-1 Safety and Health Standards. Conduct safety training, orientations, and ongoing educational programs. Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Assist multiple projects as a roving Safety Manager or serve as the dedicated safety lead on a single project. Monitor subcontractor compliance and maintain project safety documentation. Continuously drive safety improvement initiatives across the organization's portfolio.

The successful applicant will have approximately 5+ years of safety experience with a general contractor. Experience working within active construction environments is required. A track record supporting projects valued at $20M+ is necessary. OSHA 500 Certification, OSHA 30 Certification, Competent Person Training in Fall Protection, Confined Space, Scaffolding, and Excavation, current First Aid and CPR certifications, CQM-C Certification, and experience working under USACE EM 385-1-1 standards are also required.
