Our client is seeking an experienced Safety Lead to support construction operations at a project in El Paso, TX. This individual will be responsible for promoting and enforcing a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements.

Our client is seeking an experienced Safety Lead to support construction operations at a project in El Paso, TX. This individual will be responsible for promoting and enforcing a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support all onsite safety initiatives and compliance efforts
• Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and hazard assessments
• Monitor field operations to ensure safe work practices are followed
• Facilitate toolbox talks, safety meetings, and new hire orientations
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting
• Partner with project management and field personnel to address safety concerns
• Ensure proper PPE usage and compliance throughout the jobsite
• Assist in implementing corrective actions and preventative measures

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Certification required
• Previous experience in a construction safety role required
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety regulations
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
