    Description

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Primary responsibilities will center on ensuring compliance with Local, State and Federal EHS regulations.
    • Ensure that OSHA, EPA and TCEQ guidelines are met and all documentation is prepared and stored for the required timeframe.
    • Provide ongoing support, leadership and guidance and direct effort to achieve and maintain Star status under OSHA's Voluntary Protection Program.
    • Develop, implement and maintain Safety & Health Policies, Plans and Procedures.
    • Conduct new employee safety orientation training.
    • Periodic/Annual training courses regarding specific safety issues relevant to the work environment.
    • Provide ongoing support to facility personnel and leadership in the identification of workplace hazards, reporting and investigation of incidents.
    • Works with department supervision to conduct incident investigations in a thorough and timely manner to determine root cause and prevention.
    • Conducts frequent plant safety inspections and observes workers for safe and unsafe behaviors.
    • Develop, maintain and report on key safety performance indicators.
    • Scheduling and coordinating required monitoring and sampling pursuant to Facility Industrial Hygiene/Environmental factors. (air quality, noise, etc.)
    • Managing local and state permitting, sampling requirements and waste manifests. This includes experience with SDCP, Title V and IWW Permitting)
    • The above duties and responsibilities are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive;
    • Travel regionally as needed.
    • Abide by all policies and procedures established by the Company; and
    • Meet attendance requirements.
