We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Supervisor (RN) to join a collaborative inpatient healthcare team in Augusta, Georgia. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN with previous charge nurse or leadership experience who enjoys supporting clinical teams while remaining connected to patients and their recovery.
You'll play an important role in overseeing nursing operations during your assigned shift, supporting staff, addressing clinical concerns, and helping ensure patients receive safe, high-quality, individualized care.

As a Nurse Supervisor, you'll help provide leadership and direction to nursing staff while promoting excellent patient outcomes. Responsibilities include:
Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts or within an assigned unit
Serve as a key liaison between administration, nursing leadership, and clinical staff
Assist with developing and implementing individualized patient-care programs, policies, and procedures
Provide leadership, guidance, and real-time feedback to nursing staff
Participate in employee evaluations, performance counseling, and disciplinary processes when necessary
Help resolve clinical and operational issues while maintaining accountability for patient and staff outcomes
Step into direct patient care when needed
Build meaningful relationships with patients and understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs throughout recovery
Promote a positive, collaborative environment focused on quality care and successful patient outcomes
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by Georgia regulations
Current BLS certification
Ability to obtain ACLS certification within one year of starting the position
Ability to obtain CRRN certification within one year of meeting eligibility requirements
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field preferred
Minimum of two years of recent inpatient hospital experience within the past five years
Previous nursing leadership experience, such as Charge Nurse, Lead Nurse, or similar capacity
Demonstrated experience with staff oversight, issue resolution, setting clinical direction, reporting, and accountability for patient and staff outcomes
Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
