Pay & Benefits:

What You’ll Do:

• Provide expert perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in the OR setting
• Assess patient needs and plan, implement, and evaluate ongoing care
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with healthcare standards
• Use the nursing process effectively to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-op care
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety guidelines throughout procedures

What You Need:

• 
  Required:
  
  • Current Louisiana RN license
  • BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum 2 years of OR or surgical nursing experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• 
  Preferred:
  
  • Leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting
  • Additional clinical certifications related to perioperative care
