JOB TITLE: RN - L&D
Job Summary:
Provides coordinated nursing care to patients according to established standards and the nursing process. Supervises and directs assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other healthcare disciplines using critical thinking, professional judgment, and supervisory discretion.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
Acute care facility experience: Preferred
Licenses & Certifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice: Required
CPR or BLS certification from an approved vendor: Required
AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM): Required
AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS: Required
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients, analyze data, identify care needs, and develop appropriate care plans.
Implement and evaluate nursing interventions and patient outcomes.
Coordinate patient care and promote a safe and healing environment.
Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
Provide health information and education to patients, families, and team members.
Participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care.
Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
