Revenue Accounting Manager

ICX Group is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager (ASC 606) to join a global, publicly traded company. This position will lead revenue accounting activities, oversee the monthly close process, and partner closely with Technical Accounting, FP&A, Sales, Billing, and Finance leadership to ensure accurate revenue recognition and compliance with ASC 606.Highlights Hybrid work environment with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.High-visibility role supporting a large, complex technology company.Opportunity to partner cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, Technical Accounting, FP&A, and executive leadership.Exposure to strategic initiatives, including system implementations, process improvements, and business integrations.Strong career growth opportunities within a global organization.Responsibilities Review complex customer contracts and revenue arrangements to ensure compliance with ASC 606.Analyze revenue, deferred revenue, contract assets, contract liabilities, and related balance sheet accounts.Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and revenue-related financial reporting.Partner with Technical Accounting on non-standard contracts and revenue recognition matters.Collaborate with FP&A to explain monthly financial results and revenue variances.Work closely with Sales, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Collections, and Finance teams to resolve revenue accounting issues.Support internal and external audits, SOX compliance, and internal control initiatives.Drive process improvements, automation efforts, and enhancements to revenue accounting procedures.Assist with system implementations, acquisitions, and other strategic finance initiatives.Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.5+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant revenue accounting experience.Strong knowledge and practical application of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles.CPA preferred.Experience supporting SOX compliance, audits, and process improvement initiatives is highly desirable.#J-18808-Ljbffr
