Heartland Exterior is hiring Residential Exterior Sales Representatives to help homeowners improve and protect their properties through roofing, siding, and exterior restoration solutions.
This is a field-based, in-home sales role focused on building relationships, conducting property assessments, and guiding homeowners through the best solutions for their needs. While generating opportunities is part of the role, the primary focus is on consultation, problem-solving, and closing high-value projects.

What You'll Do
Customer Engagement & Lead Generation
Connect with homeowners in targeted neighborhoods and local communities
Generate opportunities through conversations, referrals, and outreach
Build trust and establish long-term relationships
Inspections & Consultations
Conduct roof and exterior inspections (training provided if needed)
Educate homeowners on:
Storm damage and restoration options
Repair vs. replacement solutions
Insurance claim processes (when applicable)
Sales & Closing
Present project scope, solutions, and pricing
Guide homeowners through decisions with confidence
Handle objections and close deals
Project & Pipeline Management
Manage projects from initial contact inspection signed agreement
Maintain follow-up and consistent deal flow
Deliver a strong customer experience throughout the process
What We're Looking For
Required
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Comfortable working in a field-based, customer-facing role
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Coachable and willing to learn
Preferred
Sales experience (construction, roofing, or in-home sales is a plus)
