Research Technician - Biomedical Research

Pride Health is partnering with a leading medical center to identify a Research Technician for an opportunity near New York, NY.

Pay rate range: $25-$27/hr. (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory experiments and research activities using established techniques.
• Prepare laboratory equipment, solutions, reagents, assays, and supplies.
• Perform cell culture, sample processing, ELISA, electrophoresis, and other laboratory procedures as required.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Collect, analyze, calculate, and document research data; prepare reports and study statistics.
• Assist with sample collection, processing, and animal-related research activities when required.
• Support research staff and investigators with ongoing projects and meet project deadlines.
• Manage laboratory inventory, purchasing, purchase orders, and expense tracking.
• Follow laboratory protocols, quality assurance, and quality improvement procedures.
• Assist with grant applications, administrative tasks, and other duties assigned by the Principal Investigator.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience through college-level coursework or laboratory experience.
• Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques, equipment, and research procedures.

• Work Mode: Fully Onsite
• Position Type: 4 months contract
• Shift Schedule: Tuesday–Friday: 11:00 AM–7:00 PM; Saturday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (start time may be adjusted earlier).
