Advertised Job Summary The research specialist will assist in conducting research on NIH -funded studies focused on anxiety and communication in children with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder and fragile X syndrome. This individual will work with the principal investigator and grant staff to assist in conducting assessments; collecting, entering, and managing data; behavioral coding; report/manuscript writing; and preparing professional presentations.

Required Education and Experience Preferred Qualifications Experience conducting research or direct experience working with children with neurodevelopmental disabilities.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Experience working with children with neurodevelopmental disorders; previous experience with research; ability to handle travel demands across South Carolina and within the United States; ability to sensitively and professionally interact with children and their families.
